Altered Lens is a small studio working across theatre, live performance, and editorial portraiture — film and stills, on stage and behind it.
The aim is specific: capture real moments with intention. Strong frames, clean light, considered composition — work that feels authentic, polished, and made for the people in it.
Led by Raymond Taiwe, with a team of cinematographers, editors and crew. The studio takes on a limited number of brand and event assignments alongside its performance work — bringing the same documentary instinct to product, motorsport, and activations across South Africa.
